Commercial Description:
Piraat is a wickedly rich and rounded brew that packs a mighty punch. The powerful glow builds up from inside. Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

330ml, weak aroma, pours the color of a dehydrated man’s urine, with a large but quick to disapate head. Begins to make up for these lackings with a very drinkable, mildly fruity beer. Alchohol presences is hard to notice. Rather smooth on the palate. Very drinkable beer for my fellow Americans that are still stuck drinking the piss-beer that is sold in mass.

Yet another good beer from Belgium. Golden color with slight haze, very tasty and an easy drink for a strong beer. Well balanced. Great all year round

Bottle: cloudy copper color. Aroma of banana and yeast. Taste has the same notes, and is silky and is very smooth. The high alcohol content is not very noticeable. Nice beer.

Hazy blonde with a thin creamy white head, lacing. A pleasant aroma of coriander, Curacao, orange pulp. In mouth, a rich sweet malt with coriander and orange, warming alcohol. A rather good strong ale. Late November 2006. Bieropholie import.

Pours a clear orange color with a huge white head that diminishes slowly and leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is yeasty with sweet bubble gum notes. The flavor is decidedly different, with spicy clove notes. The alcohol is decidedly noticeable and leaves a dry finish.

On tap - hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Slight yeast taste, but still sweet. Watch out, this beer is strong.
