3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 drdisque (258) - Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2010
Frankly doesn’t look like much as it looks like a much weaker lighter beer due to its light color. However, it leaves intense lacing that exposes its alcohol content. Aroma is rich and floral. Flavor is similar and finishes very clean. I didn’t know what to expect but I had heard good things and was pleasantly surprised.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 10, 2010
Appearance: Poured a slightly hazy, deep golden with a huge airy head. Effervescent look. Very nice retention, chunky lacing.

Flavor: Sweet biscuity malt profile with substantial candi sugar sweetness. Light fruity esters peaked in an intense peppery, herbal finish.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Medium to full body with intense peppery phenols, high alcohol warmth.
Overall: Nice golden ale with nice mouth-filling yeasty texture and dry, peppery quality.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 SSKD814 (854) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2010
A- clear champagne colored body with bubbles rising to the top. Thin white ehad that quickly fades and some lacing remains in the glass.
S- Complex smell with an interesting mix of hops, wheat, citrus, sugar, and spices.
T- Citrus and spices up front with a light hop overtone and decent wheat backbone. Followed by a mix of mild hops and a sweet sugary taste. Finish is bittersweet with a mix of sweet bread and refreshing hops. The alcohol is easily detectible but not cloying. Taste is pleasantly complex and unexpected.
P- Smooth and creamy with yeasty body and medium carbonation.
O- This is very drinkable and quite complex.
Serving type: on-tap

Poured a clear yellow/amber with almost no head. Aroma of yeast and wheat with some banana. Taste is slightly bitter with a hint of alcohol. Medium carbonation with some fruity notes in the finish. Not as yeasty as the aroma, but still very good.

Home tasting from a specialty six pack of six different belgium style beers, this is the fourth of the six I tried. Wow! Very impressed with this belgian strong, without question my favorite of the six pack.
Pours a deceptive golden hue with a reasonably carbonated head that leaves broken but elegant lacing. Great aroma of malts with a citrus hopped background.
The body is thicker than expected from appearances. Creamy, malty sweetness with fruit character that is hard to place, and then followed by a citrus hopped finish that is just bitter enough to be enjoyable.
A very impressive brew from a bottle I expected to be squinting through one eye at and stomping my foot. You need to give this winner a try!

Very sweet with a nice citrus flavor and a mild bitterness. The higher alcohol really balances the whole thing out.
