Commercial Description:
Piraat is a wickedly rich and rounded brew that packs a mighty punch. The powerful glow builds up from inside. Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

750 ML bottle purchased at Liquor Barn in Redding, CA. Color: Light to Medium golden. Bouquet: Yeasty Butterscotch. Flavor: Great balance of sweet and hop bitterness fruity, and spicy. Palate: medium bodied. Finish: spicy hop bitterness. This is a classic Tripel- this is a must have. Praise the LORD.

A true old school favorite that has always outlasted most other Belgian beers on the shelf at the local bottle shops. Classic golden color with super strong hops, fruit, and spices. The 750 with cork and tie is always fun. But beware this a true strong ale that is not to be toyed with.

Solid golden orange with a loose off white foam and light spotty lacing. The alcohol is apparent in the aroma, along with a nice fruitiness, bready and spicy. The taste is big fruitiness up front, bready sweet malt, apples, banana, pineapple, then the spiciness combines with the alcohol for a bit in the finish. Then a pleasant alcohol warmth builds up from the stomach back into the throat.

I shared this with MereLikesBeer. Delicious stuff we’ve got here. Poures a straw yellow, with small offwhite head. Very fruity like, but with an epic mouthfeel. Very good Belgian Ale. Cheers!

I shared a bottle of this with BeerBaron617. I thought it was a pretty good Belgian. It poured a clear yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. It smelled like a Belgian, yeasty with banana undertones. It tasted quite fruity, light and refreshing. Not too bubblegummy :) I like this, but not as much as golden Drakk...

Pours a gold hazy color with a thick white head. Aroma are floral and with vanilla and alcohol. Flavors are malt with an orange vanilla and spices and a sweet bitterness dry finish. Present alcohol feel.
