3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cL bottle. Pours golden clear yellow with a huge white head. Fruity. yeasty, slight brett-ish aroma, not sure this is 100% clean, but flavour was quite nice anyway. Flavour is fruity, solid sweet caramel malt base and a nice yeasty mellow note. Ends with a nice lingering fruity and yeasty flavours with a touch of caramel and a little alcohol warmth.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
The aroma is very sweet and alchoholic with notes of fruit. The color is a clear amber and it has a beutiful head, though it disappears. The flavor is very powerful and fruity. The alchohol content is hidden but gives it a great palate and prickles your tongue. It ends on a dry note instead of bitterness. A really great beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle 33 cl) Have been looking for this for quite some time and found it in "De Hopduvel" in Gent. So far I haven’t been that fond of the beers from Bios/Van Steenberge, but this fares a lot better. Pale golden, somewhat hazy with lots of sweet malt. In spite of the strong alcohol and full body this is pretty easy to drink. A pleasure. 070896

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Golden, almost clear body with a minimal white head. Expected the head to be much bigger. Quite heavy aroma, with a good dash of alcohol, along with fruits, hops and pale malt. The flavor is the same, but lighter on the alcohol, at least until the finish. Full body. Long, sweet and spiced finish with wheat-like flavors and alcohol. A quite lovely beer, better suited for the winter time. (070512)

UPDATED: APR 17, 2011 33cl bottle. Deep gold, very thick white head. Very carbonated. Yeasty banana and peach aroma. Lots of alcohol. Syrupy. Just too much alcohol. Sorry, I don’t like this much 2.1/5.0 Re-rate bottle from Lidl. Clear orange brown colour with lasting thick head. Some banana esters on the aroma. Touch of light toffee on aroma. Yep its still too syrupy strong obvious alcohol. But slightly better than I first rated this. There isnt enough of anything else to support the alcohol so its just too obvious and stands ojt too much
