COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Piraat is a wickedly rich and rounded brew that packs a mighty punch. The powerful glow builds up from inside. Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue. Lots of creamy off-white head that lasts. Aroma of grain, orange peel, grass, spices and underlying alcohol. As it starts to warm a lot of funky notes start emerging. Ctirus, bitter hops, mild sweetness and definite warm booze, not a weak one. A great use of hops in this Belgian; good bitterness, but not overwhelming. I’ll never get bored with this beer!

Bottle. Pours a deep orange-hued slightly hazy golden body with a medium creamy white head. Nose is white sugar, banana, pale malts and hints of honey, floral notes, bread dough and straw. Taste is mild caramel, metallic grassy notes, alcohol, banana, white sugary ester notes and hints of straw and floral tones. Medium crisp body, high carbonation. Not too bad, not to fantastic either. A pretty "middle-of-the-road-Duvel-version" would be a fit description.

Belle robe ambrée, opaque. Pas de mousse. Saveurs de malt, houblon européen, sucre candi, biscuit, clou de girofle, réglisse... Texture épaisse, carbonatation fine. Longue en bouche. Une excellente ambrée.

Amber copper and blurred and micro suspended sediments. A light beige foam and consistent and creamy, high training and long term toasting the taster with a corpagem in its proprietary tulip. The aroma arise apricots, prunes, brioche, grassy Belgian hops, cloves, coriander, pears, a slight acidity of the pineapple, sweet malt, brown sugar, licorice and perhaps honey. All these sensations of fine, growing and balanced manner. The taste is slightly sweet shows the caramel, toffee and brown sugar with a slight predominance of the harpsichord and the spiced yeast. Making a good composition follow the dried fruit, tstado bread and herbal bitterness that balances the spicy sweetness with the beginning of the sip. An exquisite beer and the favorite beer among cigar smokers. The more elongated aftertaste, so to speak, become dry and bitter. Your body is full and medium carbonation and thick texture, velvety. The alcohol is fully inserted in the joint despite its 10.5% abv. A classic and personality Beer Belgian Strong Ale style!

Piwo mocno nagazowane. Raczej pełne. Wyraźnie czuć rozgrzewający i moim zdaniem przyjemny alkohol. Goryczka słaba, ale występuje. W smaku przede wszystkim słodkie, owocowe. Przy finiszu raczej wytrawne.

Sampled from a bottle at the Big Texas Beer Fest. Poured a hazy golden with a mammoth white head and tons of lacing. Taste of tropical fruit, sweet caramel malts, Belgian yeast, with a boozy finish. Highly active fizzy carbonation with a medium body.

Amber colour, foam very white and really beautiful : fine, aery, generous. Smell of apricot, prune, grass, brioche. Gourmande : candi sugar, malt; sweet, structured and generous; beautiful balance.
