Triple hot but not enough bitter for me. Strong and difficult to drink. Amber copper. Raisin and citrus. Complexe mix of belgian sugars. Not so plaisant.

0.33 l bottle from Alko. Big head, yellow-orange colour. Smell has fruity hops like an APA, but taste is first sweet (from the alcohol) then there is a hint of hops. I would have prefer less alcohol and more hops. Well, this proves you can make beer with a bit over 10 % alcohol to taste like a beer with 5% of alchohol.

750 corked and caged Bottle. Right from the pop of the cork I could smell glorious hops. Also a good Belgian yeast note. Cloudy amber in color with lasting fluffy/ bubbles of head.

Taste is on the sweeter side with floral hops noticeable but more so in the aroma. Belgian yeast forward with mild candy sugar and malt throughout the center with the mild floral hops showing a touch in the finish. The alcohol is not hidden in this beer at all but still doesn’t hurt it overall as long as it stays chilled. Champagne like carbonation maybe a bit much. I must be one of the few people that got a fresher bottle because I thought this was pretty good. Slightly above average maybe a little green but with some mild adjustment this could be very good.

Liikaa on viinaa. Ei tätä mielellään juo. Kaunis ja pullo antoi odottaa. Ei kuitenkaan hyvä.

Piraat Triple Hop is an aromatic delight with nice balance. Dark amber pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is moderate hop freshness. Taste is a nice balance between a hop kick and malt with a bit of an alcohol bite in the end. Piraat Triple is a decent quaff that holds up to hearty foods.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 16.12.2017
Red & golden label without "dry hopped" text
Aroma has soapy, ripe apricots. Also some mellow spice tones and hints of citrus. Flavour is sweet with ripe apricots, dried fruits, some spices, toffee candy and somewhat stinging alcohol. Could not locate the extra hoppiness here. A Belgian ale which tries to balance sweetness with booze. The result is sweet and boozy.

330 ml bottle. Hazy golden colour, thin white head, nice lacing. Malty, sweetish fruity aroma with floral hops, yeast and spicy notes. The flavour is sweetish malty, with plenty of alcohol warmth and a moderately hoppy aromatic finish. Way too boozy, but otherwise quite nice.

Bottle. Darker golden, foamy off-white head. Sweet sugar cane, some ripe garden fruityness, boozy and yeasty notes in aroma. Some herbal notes too. Bittersweet in taste, some greenish hops are present as well. Boozy and bitter finish. Gets alot better towards the finish though.
