It has an equally exquisite taste as Piraat but combined with the finest hops.

Triple hot but not enough bitter for me. Strong and difficult to drink. Amber copper. Raisin and citrus. Complexe mix of belgian sugars. Not so plaisant.

Restrained aroma in a golden pour. Interesting hop forward example of the style that is maybe a just little too strong when compared to similar brews.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5583) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 19, 2015
Sampled form an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy tan-brown color with a large fluffy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet, spritzy fruitiness, sugar, Pez, toffee and yeast - nicely complex. The flavor was tart and chalky with pez, artificial sugar, artificiail fruit, perfume, a medicinal note and booziness throughout. Very long finish of chalk, artificial sugar, medicine and booze. Medium body. Disappointing.

750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head, initially a large white head. A big sweet dough and yeast nose. The flavor is sweet bready Belgian malts, toffee, fruity hops, yeasty. Solid.

HammerTroll (847) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 10, 2015
Clear amber color, big white head which drops to minimal. Aroma is berries, dark fruit, alcohol, salt and caramel. Taste is dried fruit and brown sugar with long sweet finish. Creamy texture, medium to full body, soft carbonation. Tastes good but it?s too sweet. And not hoppy at all. //stellabeershop

Bottle to tulip glass. Fresh perfume and floral hops in moderate. Slightly dirty amber with a full oatmeal colored head. Taste is moderately floral hops and moderate strong alcohol warmth. Taste is slightly infected with a non-intentional funk at the back half. Semi-sweetness lingers.

Bottled (from Alko Kivihaka, Vaasa). Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, nice floral and somewhat sweetish wooden hops to it with mild alcohol. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance. Actually I recalled the Piraat as a somewhat gluelike BSA, but atleast with the hopping in this one, the glueish alcohol was taken down quite nicely. (apparently the boozy-remembering thing went towards the 9% version...)
