It has an equally exquisite taste as Piraat but combined with the finest hops.

From a package of the Lidl. Amber, minimal head., flat beer. Aroma is sweet, some fizzling in the mouth, with minimal citrus, some artificial aroma even. Sweetish taste, alcoholic, medium body, reasonable finish. Not so good at all.

Excellent Belgian Ale with extra hops. I like this variation. Warming alc. not very noticeable when drinking.

Draught at Delirium Cafe. Rich cereal bread base with a decent floral hop bouquet, fruity and spicy notes, grass, honey, long bitter finish with a touch of booze. Did enjoy this one, quite a smooth and hoppy Belgian.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of apple skins, floral hops, Belgian yeast, sweet bready malt, hint of booze. Flavor of Belgian yeast, spices, apples and light fruits, tangy bitter finish. Not sure how fresh this bottle is, it’s not particularly hoppy, but it’s a plenty enjoyable Belgian triple. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]

Pours hazy amber with a moderate white head. Heavy sweet aroma with notes of anason, caramel, fresh mountain air. Flavor is quite the same, can’t feel the hops at all. Not my type at al.

Bottle with expiry date January 2017. Amber colour, cloudy, beautiful frothy head. Aroma is faint, with alcohol and sweets. Hops? what hops? Light bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body, a bit cloying fizzy carbonation. Poor one, a total disappointment.

Bronskleurig bier met volle witte schuimkraag. Eerder moutig aroma. Zelfde met de smaak. Voor een tripel hop had ik deze bitterder verwacht. Wel lekkere warme afdronk. Géén hoogvlieger maar wel meer dan degelijk bier.

Bottle at Winking Lizard. The beer pours a slightly hazy copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of vine fruits, yeast, hops and malt. The finish is fruity with an earthy hops and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap. Hazy amber pour with small off white head. Aroma of yeast, hops, caramel, bread dough, bubblegum, cloves and straw. Taste of yeast, wheat, straw, slightly fruity, caramel and a slightly dry peppery, hoppy finish. Full bodied, higher carbonation, definate hop presence on the finish.
