Maria (10121) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 12, 2013
It’s dark red-brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of burnt sugar, caramel, light syrup and dark bread. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of burnt sugar, syrup, caramel, hints of licorice, light fruit and it becomes fairly dry towards the finish.

Kristall-König (2187) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - AUG 11, 2011
Malziger und hintergründig hopfensüßlicher Geruch. Frischer Antrunk. Test vom 6.11.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 10/20
Koelschtrinker (9999) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 8, 2011

Papsoe (25090) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2009
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear orangey brown with a nice and firm beige head with good retention. Fresh aroma, lightly citric. Appears a little watery, some roasted malts and a little burned caramel. Dry finish. Has a vague tartness that indicates infection, but nothing too serious. 021009

MiP (13478) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2009
Bottle, 5.1%. Weak dusty and metallic aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is malty, slightly caramelly with a bit of butter. Hint of acid, but comes out a quite well-balanced beer.

Quack-Duck (7713) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 24, 2008
bottle. Hazy brown colour, beige head. Very malty with hints of caramel, roasetd malt, chocolate and raisins, with the same wild fruityness/sourness found in their Helles Zoigl. A very pleasant brew.
