Pours a golden colour with a white fluffy head. Aroma of grainy malts, marshmellow and dust. Flavour of grainy malts, citrus, low bitterness, hay and some sweet marshmellow notes again. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Decent for a pale lager, but still useless.

Another bulky and metallic lager with watery notes, hints of hops and grass. Not sure how this is different from the regular version.

Basic Finnish lager-look: clear golden, short head. Some fruits, mildly sweet aroma, bit hay. Light body and feel, bit fruits, bit hay like in aroma, same elements in finish. Nothing special happening here, bulkish.

Canned (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grainy, a bit rubbery, floral and some dusty notes as well. Flavour is quite sweet, some mild malts/grains as well as mild bitterness. As for the flavour not totally hopeless.

Drunk from can. Malty, metallic and sugary aroma. Medium sweet, rather flat carbon. Nonsurprising.

Clear pale golden colour with small frothy white head.
Aroma is Olvi all over it. Grainy malt, caramel sweetness, metal and cookies. Flavour is malt, mild caramel sweetness, mild metal and some dryness. I don’t know if this differs from the regular Olvi Pirkka III?

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2013 Red Can. More bottom than basic Pirkka III. Like some more cara-malts. Little sweet. No watery. New favorite 12-pack beer.
