Dull straw-gold; slim white rim for head. Just grainy nose, not much else, but a few fruity esters. Very dull-sweet taste, quite grainy again - but with a very authentic-tasting lactic retronasal aroma. Medium bodied, some tartness in the finish. The taste is surprisingly authentic. I wouldn't have expected it from the Leroy-Van Eecke duo.
