Decent IPA, a tad more on the pale side of the spectrum with subtle hops. Semi-watered down. No noticeable date on the can so might not have been fresh.

12 oz can. (Bruisin Ales) Asheville, NC.
Hazy golden colour with a small white head.
Fruity and citrusy hops, mild bitterness and
The flavour is citrusy, piney and mild grapefruity hops, moderate bitterness, dryness and some maltiness. A nice, dry and tasty IPA.

Surprised by the score on this one. It is easily one of my favorite IPAs in WNC. It is a west coast IPA in style and carries with it the expected hop aromas and flavors. Fresher is better obviously. What makes it so great thought is a fantastic malt balance that brings out the hops but doesn’t just play second fiddle like it is yellow seltzer water. It balances well. Drink this beer.

Pour out of a can is golden with a white 1in head. I'm told by my beer guy that this beer was very fresh canned about a week ago. Taste is ok but nothing amazing. Malt sweetness up front a small hoppy bite to finish. More on the pine end then citrus end of the ipa scale.

Draft from the brewery, this pours lightly hazed straw-golden with a huge ice cream head that has great retention. The nose is citric and floral. Big citrus notes in the mouth followed by a solid bitter finish. Definitely west-coast inspired, this complements a cigar perfectly. Goes down well in the heat and provides substance and complexity with the active carbonation and medium body. Nice example of a hop-forward "left coast" IPA.

Draft to pint at Pisgah. Looks good; a mildly hazy deep golden orange with foamy white head. Smells of bitter hops and pale malt. Tastes like it smells with light tropical hop notes too. Average on the palate. A decent IPA.

On tap at Native Kitchen. Suprised rating was so low- to me it’s a decent, crisp, light, summery, clean IPA. Pours hazy with an orange hue- not much head but still appealing. Taste is grapefruit up front with some pine, orange, and slight floral notes. Decent balance- not overly hoppy. Medium carbonation and slightly slick mouthfeel. Good. Solid.
