3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Native Kitchen. Suprised rating was so low- to me it’s a decent, crisp, light, summery, clean IPA. Pours hazy with an orange hue- not much head but still appealing. Taste is grapefruit up front with some pine, orange, and slight floral notes. Decent balance- not overly hoppy. Medium carbonation and slightly slick mouthfeel. Good. Solid.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a slight citrus and tropical fruit. The hop aromas are there but nothing over the top. Flavor is some pineapple and a big hit of bitterness. Again nothing stands out, it’s just kind a dull hop flavor. Finish is more bitterness and a clean finish. Kind of a basic no frills IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
COD 4/19/16. Light amber pour with some suspended matter. World class head volume, lacing and retention. The final pour delivers quite significant amounts of particulate matter that results in a hefeweizen appearance.
Very good nose of light citrus (lemon), light tropical (passion fruit), spruce and a solid malt base that has biscuit and bready aspects.
Light body that is smooth. Very good carbonation / body balance. The middle is slightly effervescent while the finish approaches prickly.
The flavor profile is good, but lacks sufficient bitterness flavor for the style. As an pale ale, I would rate the flavor very good to borderline outstanding. It is rich in hop flavor (mostly sweet tropical initially, then shifts to spruce and ends with pine and zest) but has very little bitterness. Underneath is a rich malt base that follows the nose (biscuit and bready). The finish is a slow fade that is mostly lingering zest.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
It pours yellow with an off white head. It has aromas of citrus, bread, and hints of tropical fruits. It has flavors of citrus, and bread with floral and piney elements in the background and hints of tropical fruit. It has a moderate feel to it with a moderately bitter aftertaste. Overall the beer is balanced towards the hop, but the malt backbone is prominence.

From can (5/22/15). Mild hoppy aroma, herbal, fruity. Sweet malt. Medium amber golden with thin head. Medium body with light carbonation. Semi-sweet IPA, malty. Good hop flavor, fresh but no big bitterness. Easy drinking with smooth after.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the source. Poured a solid yellow color with white head. The aroma was pine and mild mslts. The thing I liked about this is that there is no punch you in the face citrus. This old fashioned pine and floral. Almost hard to find these days. The flavor was light mild malt and a solid pine offering followed by the floral notes. I really enjoyed this one.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
West Coast IPA from NC. Not as tropical as many of the ones here in FL in this style. Semi-unfiltered light orange appearance. Aroma and flavor of citrus, pine, and bitter hops. Not quite a hop bomb, but very well-balanced. Smooth, light frothy texture. Will look for this again next time I am up that way.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. can, consumed on 9-29-15. Labeled as “Pisgah GreyBeard IPA.” Pours a hazy, cloudy gold with a large amount of beige head. Creamy, uneven head. Suspended particulate in the liquid. Looks pretty to very good. Produces good, thick lacing. Apple juice, white grape juice, and apricot nectar scents. Pleasant, fruit-juicy, hoppy smell. Juicy flavor matches the aroma, but with hints of dankness as well as vanilla. Apple juice, white grape juice, pear, and green grape flavors. Juicy yet dry finish. Light to medium body, light for the style and ABV. Soft in the palate. Easy to drink. Quite pleasant and likable. An above average IPA. Not what I was expecting in its gentle juiciness, but I do like it indeed. A friendly beer.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On draft at the brewpub it is a clear golden color with a slight head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is a strong bitter white grapefruit taste that resonates bitter on the tongue
