2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft. Poured an amber color with very little head. Slight amount of hops to it, but not a lot else to talk about. Doesn’t go well with Italian food.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden with a nice fluffy head. Aroma is hoppy, light earth, with some citrus and floral components. Taste is plenty bitter with some sweetness. Palate is prickly, light to medium bodied, with a fairly long finish. A nice, refreshing pale ale. Very easy going. I wrote, "it is the Dude of beers, it abides..." and it does. Very nice offering.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a slightly hazy light copper with a half finger head. Good head retention.
Slight aroma of citrusy hops along with some caramel malt. Not as strong as I would have liked.
Earthy hop flavors come in first followed by a moderate bitterness that lasts throughout. Biscuity malt flavors balance out the hoppyness quite nicely. Finished relatively clean leaving a slight earthy taste.
Overall a nice pale ale that I could easily drink all day long. Nothing too special about it but a solid enjoyable beer.

Dark copper in color. Murky. Appears to be unfiltered? Tastey and different. Nice earthy tones. Not perfect but pretty cool. I’d drink it again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bottle that I received as a gift from Scott at the Charleston Beer Exchange. Pours a mostly clear golden amber with a thin-moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Pleasant aroma of malt with a bit of caramel and biscuit. The flavor is similar with malt, caramel and biscuit. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish that lingers for about fifteen seconds after the swallow. Medium bodied. This is a straightforward, easy-to-drink, enjoyable pale ale. Thanks, Scott!
