COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our pale ale is a perfect blend of whole leaf Chinook and Mount Hood hops and rich organic malts. A crisp, clean profile make this beer distinct.

Fantastic pale ale. Reminds me of Sierra...one of my favorites and a ’classic’. Great balance between the malt, hops and alcohol. Anytime I’m near Asheville...sign me up. I could drink these all night

On tap in plastic glasses from PBC at the Asheville Earth Day Festival. This beer is near perfect without going overboard with a wow or in your face flavor. Instead rich orange/amber color, fresh grassy hops, enough malt body to balance and add some richness. Really solid beer.

Have been watching this start-up brewery closely this year. I usually get a pint at Barleys or the Mellow Mushroom in Asheville. The hops were very prevalent in the nose, but the beer lacked any real bitter bite, which the girls seemed to enjoy. Could use some more bittering hops in my opinion, but overall I think these guys are onto something. Did I mention that all Pisgah beers are Certified Organic? Nice touch!

On tap at Barleys in Asheville. I love this beer. It was so good. Not too hoppy and not too bitter, Just right. One of my favorite beers so far. I could drink this one everyday if Pisgah would start making bottles.

22oz bomber Pours a slightly hazy light copper with a half finger head. Good head retention. Slight aroma of citrusy hops along with some caramel malt. Not as strong as I would have liked. Earthy hop flavors come in first followed by a moderate bitterness that lasts throughout. Biscuity malt flavors balance out the hoppyness quite nicely. Finished relatively clean leaving a slight earthy taste. Overall a nice pale ale that I could easily drink all day long. Nothing too special about it but a solid enjoyable beer.

From a growler shared by OldGrowth. Thanks Tom! Pours a hazy orange amber with a whispy off white head. Lacing is retained. Looks great. Nose and flavors is piney, citrus, fresh earthy hops, malts provide balance. Very sessionable. I could have had a growler to my head. A delicious easy drinking pale. Well done, Pisgah.

Dark golden copper color. Aroma is citrus and pine. Dry smooth flavor of lemons and grapefruits. Extremely easy to drink. Very nice feel and taste.
