Draft to taster. Looks good; a transparent reddish copper with white lacing. Smells and tastes of yeast and raspberries with a solid mouthfeel. An enjoyable fruit beer.

Home keg tap to glass. Beautiful pink hue in the glass with a 1/2 inch head. Minimal lacing. Strong fresh raspberry smell mixed with a nice belgian aroma. The taste follows the smell exactly with a medium body and a delicious buttery undertone! For an amazing treat, mix half and half with Catawba’s PB&J Time!

TURDFERGUSON (3951) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Tap at beer study. Pours a dark brownish red with a small off white head. Nose is lightly fruity, some booze upfront, a bit of red berry seeds. Flavor is similar, fruit and booze dominate with a light Belgian yeast like finish. Okay, but a little too boozy to really enjoy.

emacgee (4010) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Pours a deep ruby red with one finger of off white head. Nose shows some fruity notes and earthy grain. Raspberry and raspberry seeds show up front in the flavor. Some earthy and yeasty notes show as well. Lightly sweet notes show as well. Light bodied and dry on the finish.

574deadzone (1027) - North Central, Indiana, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Draft at the source, listed 8.5% ABV on the board. Pours a clear bright red-pop color with a thin pinkish white head that leaves some clingy lace. Nose involves spicy, funky yeast, earthy notes, with a hint of cherry. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, with a fair tartness: not a big flavor-punch. Medium body, actively carbed, with a crisp tart finish. A decent brew, but lacking in a lot of ways. And the red-pop appearance is just weird.

Fruit overload. Enjoyable but in no way balanced. Unfiltered orange-pink-red. Steady head. Forward raspberry and fruit tones. Lots of fruit flavor, but just lacks balance. A fresh beast of a fruit beer.

A bright reddish orange with small white head. Aroma is raspeberries mostly and some cherries. The flavor is rather boozy with raspberries and lemons. Some sweetness but alot of alcohol. Overall purple haze on crack.

Tap @ Thirsty Monk. Kool-Aid red color, white head. Smells of cherry juice. Sweet and tart. If you made a beer out of Emergen-C... this is it. Finishes syrupy. Very noticeable it is fresh fruit. (3432)

reviewing from notes, tap at mellow mushroom - Asheville 12/20/2011 - Pours a cloudy murky reddish-orange with a thin white head. Aroma is nice red fruit, strawberries, cherries, raspberries, some funk and a bit of barnyard. Taste is sweet, a touch tart. Really not filtered, got a raspberry seed in the last sip. Palate is a bit dry, finishes clean. Overall, fabulous.

Hazy red amber, light head, light lace. Taste is very unusual...spices and fruit (cherry?) with a zesty effervesence in the finish. Interesting, recommendable, at least fot a glass. Probably not sessionable. Overall effect is like a fruit champagne or even a wine cooler.
