(Draught) Pours a hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of cherries, raspberries, Belgian yeast, and caramel. Flavor of raspberries, cherries (bit wine cooler like), dough, and yeast.

(PPSG09, growler) Small off-white head atop clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, raspberry, some cherry. Taste is medium sweet, raspberry, some seltzer. Light-medium body, light acidity.

@Pilsner Petes East Coast Gathering-growler-pours a disappearing white head and amber color. Aroma is mild sweet medium malt-caramel, some hops. Taste is mild sweet medium malt-caramel, some herbal hops. Thanks dickinsonbeer for sharing.

PPRBSG09. Growler Pours an amber red body with an off white lacing. Some light raspberry with a light dry chewy fruit character with a light cherry notes.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Pours a light pinkish with a violet hue , hazy and a nice lasting white head. Aroma is fruity with raspberries- slight tart cherry- and fruit juice but is also spicy with Belgian yeast- and a bit peppery, slight solvent and some wheaty cream character. Flavor seems a bit weak and watered down for a 8% fruit beer- some flowery notes- violet, then some weak cherry and rasp fruit cocktail with some wheaty and doughy notes- more spice and phenols in the end. Just seemed a bit on the bland side.

Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear light red color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is tart cherry and raspberry. Taste is sweet cherry, pineapple and bitter hops. No alcohol noticeable. Medium-full bodied.

Sampled during BA monthly gathering at Stub & Herb’s in Minneapolis, MN. From a growler, pours a hazy reddish caramel brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and thin ring. Aroma of wheat malt, some bing cherries, flowery hops, a hint of red berries, and some vanilla. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of cherries, caramel malt, some light earthy spices, and a hint of raspberries. Finish is semi-tart with a nice balance of cherry and caramel malt with plenty of alcohol warmth.
