COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We rolled back the calendar to brew this beer. Like 150 years. This belgian farmouse ale was fermented without the modern convenience of temperature control which resulted in a perfect rendition of this style from 19th century belgium. Farmhouse ales were originally brewed to refresh the field workers during harvest season in Wallonia. Tart and sour notes dominate this light quenching ale.

Sampled on draft at the brewery. The bartender informed me the ABV is close to 3.5%, though I don’t remember the exact amount. Pours a light golden yellow color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Taste is tart with notes of yeast, cherry, peach, citrus and faint hop notes in the finish. Full bodied.

Tap from Brewgrass... finally rating it. Poured cloudy pale yellow and had citrus and mild spice. Nothing special here, but quite drinkable. I would enjoy quite a bit of this on a warm day.

pours a cloudy pale gold, mild sour backgrounds give way to a very sessionalbe and enjoyable saison, good stuff.

On tap @ Pisgah Brewery. Pours a hoegaarden-ish pale cloudy yellow. Has some saison citrus lemony presence. Some spiciness but they dont seem to blend well. Least favorite of the beer I had
