Bottle… This beer rocks!… Pitch black ale with a small, creamy, beige head. Great retention. Rich, chocolaty, coffee with cream aroma. Full-bodied and very silky with soft carbonation. Tastes like a lightly sweetened mocha latte. Burnt, bitter, dry finish.

Growler: Pours an opaque dark mahogany with a thin, wispy-lacing dark tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet dark caramel and chocolate malts with a fresh roasted coffee character. Body starts lightly sweet and fairly full with a toasty caramel and light milk chocolate flavor balanced with a good coffee character. A pretty good coffe stout, with some lingering roasted notes. But could use a little more fullness and complexity.

Bottle shared by ShareANevada. Poured black color with an average brown frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted malt, chocolate and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet roasted coffee flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good complex stout.
