2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
courtesy of fishingnet.
pours dark amber cloudy with thick off white head.
Aroma and taste, yeasty, with some moldy flavors, dry palate, very hoppy and almost unbalanced. Some sweet caramel notes.
Overall this just wasn’t great of a beer.
Would not mind to re-rate it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks fishingnet for the share. Pours a brown-yellow with a foamy off-white head. Nose is floral hops, pine, citrus, and some spice. Flavor was caramel, all manner of hops, but lacks some of the depth that I would expect from a beer that I have heard so much hype about. Hmmm... Overall not bad.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fruit in the aroma. Lots of malt. Caramel. Nice. A Trpel Pale Ale - whatever that means. Who cares. This is a damn good beer. Rating number 1000 scores big. And my wife just took some!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours an orange body with a white head. Strong astringent hop aroma with a paper citrus character and a herbal earthiness. Very soapy this is likely the victim of heat or light. Eh.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber via a trade from Keith. Pours a nice deep orange/red with a huge, puffy off-white head. Aroma is some caramel mat balanced nicely with thyme, pot (seriously), and lots of other herbal qualities. Begins heavy on the caramel malt in the mouth, followed by a pleasant bittering sensation. Too heavy on the malt in my eyes, but the balance is there and it’s kind of nice. Interesting contrast from the malt to the fizzy, bitter hops that is unusually extreme.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Source: 22 oz bottle at a tasting.
Appearance: Hazy amber pour with a one finger off white head.
Aroma: Pine hops with some spiciness. Caramel malt. Hint of citrus.
Flavor: Caramel malt base...almost too sweet. Pine and citrus finish.
Palate: Medium/full bodied with solid carbonation and a slick mouthfeel.
Overall: A bit too sweet with the caramel malt. Would prefer a bit hoppier, and less sweet.
