[ Courtesy of GAManiac ]. Clear medium to dark orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, grapefruit, citrus, pine. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled@fonefan. Amber colour, beige head. Aroma is caramel, hops, some grains, mild berryish and floral notes. Flavour is quite much the same, but also has some resin and honey along to it. Also alcohol shows quite well. A quite brutal IIPA.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2010 (22oz bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a medium beige head. Aroma of cereal, florals, orange, earth, caramel, herbal, and apricot. Flavor of hops (pine, floral, earth, grass, orange), bread, and caramel malt with a dry, bitter finish.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white hrad. Has a fruity malty strong hoppy piney grapefruit aroma. Sweetish malty bitter hoppy pieny grapefruit flavor with hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit finish.

on tap-pours a foamy light tan head and cloudy gold color. Aroma is citrus hops, sweet medium malt. Taste is citrus hops-bitter, sweet medium malt.

Bottle… Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is straight-up toffee and biscuit with afterthoughts of spicy hops, pine and grapefruit. Full-bodied and creamy with tingly carbonation. Flavor-wise, there are touches of toffee and biscuit here, but masochistic bitterness is most definitely the star of the show. The tongue-scorchingly bitter finish dries out a bit at the very end.
