Bottle… Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is straight-up toffee and biscuit with afterthoughts of spicy hops, pine and grapefruit. Full-bodied and creamy with tingly carbonation. Flavor-wise, there are touches of toffee and biscuit here, but masochistic bitterness is most definitely the star of the show. The tongue-scorchingly bitter finish dries out a bit at the very end.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled for Growler courtesy of Zrrbrrt. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, oranges, wet grass, and lightly earthy. Tastes followed the same. Somewhat semi sugary sweet but overall had a nice balance. Alcohol content well hidden.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, thanks Ryan! Amber pour, light head. Nice aroma of floral/citrus hops and caramel malt. I get some notes of tropical fruit as well. Flavor is a bit sweeter than I expect, a big malt bill with some tropical fruit flavors and some lost hops. Not bad, not world class either.

From Bruisn’ Ales.Pours very thick head that leaves very thick lace, on grapefruit body. Aroma is hoppy, not crazy hoppy. Chinook, Nugget, very well malted. 130 IBU rated but not getting that at all. Grapefruit, some tangerine, very tasty. Dangerously drinkable.Bomber gone, 20 minutes. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Called triple pale, and that’s what it is.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a huge, creamy off-white head that stays over a clear amber body. Aroma of hops, mango, apricot, light citrus, caramel and a touch of sweet, [unreadable]. Taste is quite bitter with apricot and candied fruit. Very nice bitterness. Light bubbles and a syrupy mouthfeel.

Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a very hazy orange color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is bitter, resiny hops with toffeeish malts and some nutty notes. Taste is very bitter. EXTREMELY bitter. Resin, herbal, earthy and minty, balanced by toffee. Full bodied.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of fishingnet. Pours with a gold hazy matte copper look and floating a modest off white head. The aroma is mild and a bit musty with hints of sweetness and chewy muted sweet citrus. The taste is nice and citrusy and backed up by full smooth malt sweetness. It gets pretty grapefruit hop bitter by midway with support notes of pine, grassiness and a dash of spice. It ends dry and a bit rougher than it started.

courtesy of fishingnet.
pours dark amber cloudy with thick off white head.
Aroma and taste, yeasty, with some moldy flavors, dry palate, very hoppy and almost unbalanced. Some sweet caramel notes.
Overall this just wasn’t great of a beer.
Would not mind to re-rate it.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
In short: A brutal sugary grapefruity IIPA. An acceptable sipper, no more.
How: Bottle 22oz. Age unknown but consumed immediately upon reception. Graciously sent to me by ygtbsm94, thanks a lot Brad.
The look: Cloudy dark orange body topped by a large beige head
In long: Nose of caramel and grapefruits. Taste is more of the same. A lot of crunchy sugary caramel, biting grapefruity bitterness, brown sugar, alcohol apparent. After-taste has more brown sugar than anything else. Way too much brown sugar overall, this beer is not well balanced. Don’t know if they brewed it more than once but my bottle label clearly said 9.8% and not 10.8% as listed here, but I’m not gonna complain about a 1% mistake, because if I do I’ll kill my 2008-2009 financial advisor.
