Collint (325), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Aug 10, 2008 Draft at the Taproom in Ashville. Pours a unclear amber with a big orange head. aroma is super hoppy. Flavor is a punch of hops, clean super bitter with nice bite. 3.5 grams hops per pint of beer. I did’nt think that beer could be any hoppier. I enjoyed this one. TURDFERGUSON (1125), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Jun 27, 2008 Draught at Barley’s in Asheville. Pours a deep amber with a small white head. Nose has a nice caramel malt sweetness along with bitter and grassy, fresh floral hops. Good crisp and bitter mouthfeel with a nice bitter, yet balanced, finish. Alcohol pretty well hidden. This kind of reminded me of what 90 minute tasted like 5 years ago. The write-up at the bar says they used 1/8oz of hops per pint of beer. They are such hippies!
