Bottled. A light pinkish perry with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of pears and wood as well as hints of apples. The flavor is acidic with light notes of pears and wood, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle. No head, just cloudy light yellow with green notes. Complex barnyard aroma, sharp sourness and a hint of cheese. Flavours are very sour -have to get my teeth enamel checked after this- but with notes of wood in addition to fruit. Definitely some geuze character. A bit unsure how to rate this- it is my first perry- and I do not think anyone falls 100% for this sour aunt of beer at the first sight. But I am quite impressed by her complexity- this is so much more than mere pear juice.

A Mes rate: Bottle at the Wenlock. Actually rather tasty in the mouth but to me it really clearly smells of dog food and I just canít get past it. Other than the aroma its a reasonable perry with some nice tartyness to it. Very juicy and lip smacking. Just ruined by dog food.

Opaque pale gold with no head. Sweet yet sour apple, pear and a sort of white wine nose. Puckering tartness but refreshing apple and pear flavour. Enjoyed.

Handpull at The Wenlock Arms, London. Cloudy pale green colour. F*** me, itís green!!!! No head. Pear, sharp perry aroma. Some really nice pear juice, but it is sharp. Really good juicyness though. Drying finish. I rather like it. After bitters all evening, itís a real palate cleanser. Love the fruit. In your face fruity perry, bit of perry vinegar, bit of puckering of the cheeks.
