OK session bitter, lots of hops on top of full flavour malt. Somehow it does not feel wholly balanced. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Sep 2, 2007 Updated: Oct 27, 2007Bottle RBESG07 ... Ticks all the boxes rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Aug 30, 2007 (RBESG 2007, Glasgow. Bottle) Amber color, offwhite head. Malty aroma but also quite alot of hops. Malty, bready flavor, some grassy hops. bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA May 23, 2008 Cask. Mild floral aroma. Amber color with an off-white head. Medium body with light carbonation. Rather fruity flavors - suggests rhubarb - just comes to mind - as one of the components. Finish is light stone fruity with enough floral bitter to balance. Nice to drink. leaparsons (4659), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Dec 15, 2005 Bottle. Cloudy orange/brown with an off-white head. Aromas are sweet toffee and caramel with spicy hops and some yeast. Flavours are sweet caramel malts followed earthy, dry hops. Has some burnt notes with some fruitiness. Bitter on the finish. Pretty tasty for its alcohol level. RichardGretton (3131), Leicestershire, England Dec 18, 2005 Bottle. Glazed, syrupy, frosty looking orange/amber beer with a fizzy head. The aroma is lightly fruity and the flavour is watery and slightly dry. Overall a disappointing beer.
