Pitfield Pigs Ear Cherry Porter

Bottle. Blackish beer with a strong head. The aroma is strongly roasted, and the flavour is strongly bitter and roasted. Overall an OK beer with not very cherry just bitter and roasted.

Bottled - Pigs Ear BF. A black beer with an off-white head. The aroma has diacetyl which can be smelt from afar. However there is none of this in the taste which instead has chocolate and fruity cherries. A pretty nice beer if you hold your nose.

Bottle at Pig’s Ear BF 08. Black with lasting tan head. Bit of diacetyl on aroma. Some tea like cherry. Decent porter beneath it. Bit too much tea and diacetyl.
