It’s not a great beer, or even a good beer given normal conditions. Although after a hot day on the beach at St. Lucia it tastes pretty darn good.

Bottle: Clear gold...minimal whte head. Light honey/grain malt scent. Flavour of corn, grain malts. Light....actually a hint of spicy hops. Really pretty decent.....not a bad pick for a day on the sand.

Bottle (courtesy of my brother and his lovely wife - hopefully they continue taking cruises). Tinny barley malt aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lemon, barley malt and hay flavor. Not a bad pale lager.

Bottle at porch nite thanks to Raith. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Slight corn aroma. No malt. Fairly sweet corn and not much else in the flavor. Very thin and light bodied. Drinkable but not much else. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the bottle in St. Lucia. Very very pale with a thin white head. Tiny malt aroma. Body is ultra light and no real malt flavors at all.

Draught at Grand Pineapple, Antigua. Pale yellow Caribbean lager, yellow, fizzy, decent white head. Not much aroma, grainy notes. Taste is a nice dry malt. Watery, fizzy, short finish. Entirely inoffensive, works well in the 30 degree heat.

Drinkable. Clean. Pale lager. Akin to a carona, though not the big market. Lime would add flavor i guess.

"Slightly beery" is the way to describe this offering. On draft in St Lucia hotels and in bottle in the airport at the bar. Very pale, reasonable effervescence, almost nothing on the nose and very cold. Insigniificant bitterness. Draft was served in small plastic glasses. On draft and in bottle it had little flavor with no outstanding features. All in all a disappointment as it is really the only offering on the island of St Lucia.

Meh... I really can’t say this is an appalling beer, I’ve tasted a lot worse but it really doesn’t have much going for it other than the refreshing qualities that you find in most lagers if served ice cold. A little sharper and slightly more sour than some although the hop rate is still quite low. On the other hand if St. Lucia had great beer then it really would have too much going for it for one little island.

Bottle: Poured a golden with thin white head. Aroma was a little slinky cardboard. Taste was mild to sour grain, very thin and wet. Smooth finish.
