My review at the time just contained the phrase "fucking awful sour arse-pineapple". Shall we just say that I didn’t get this at its prime. Should rerate.

Cask Conditioned gravity dispense Swan & Rushes Leicester. An almost black beer with a ruby hue which poured with no head. This drinks stronger than 5% and also has stout and even Barley Wine characteristics. Boozy fruity and strong in all departments. Hints of a bit of clove spicing in the nose. This had been on a while and was showing signs of agedness but was still drinkable and pretty nice.
