Commercial Description: The first in our series of single hopped pale ales. For this project we will use the exact same malt profile in each brew, but experiment with different hop varieties. In this batch we used Columbus hops. This high alpha American hop leaves a clean bitterness and is a good example of grapefruit, citrus, piney flavors and aromas. Hop heads rejoice! Very spicy, it packs a puckering punch! German and English malts; American Columbus hops.
Pours a straw like copper with a white creamy thin head. Smells of grapefruit, pine sol, doughy and slightly green. Tastes mildly bitter and spicy with some nice bitter blood orange elements on the finish.
