On tap at Pivnica Mali Medo, Zagreb. Clear dark bown with a reddish hue and an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruits, malt, dried fruits, some hoppy notes and hints of yeast and roast. Moderate sweet with a light acidity and a balanced bitterness. Quite decent and well balanced. (2013-05-17)
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ElDesmadre (934) - Mikołów, POLAND - SEP 12, 2012
Draught at Pivnica Medvedgrad. In my opinion the best of their beers. Surprisingly hoppy aroma with a top layer of grassy hops, under which there are the malty notes - bread, roast and caramel. The dominating aroma elements were the hops and dried plums, especially in the flavour. Light sweet, light bitter. Less dry and more hoppy than a regular schwarzbier. Very tasty!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 luttonm (1630) - Belgrade, SERBIA - MAR 2, 2012
Draft at the Božidara Adžije location. Darkest brown lager, foamy over-the-top head. Soapy foam nose. Coating, rusty roast. Strong flavor, a touch metallic but otherwise very tasty. Striking roast, but same eggy, sour lactic nose that turned me off their other strong beer. Quite nice overall.

31/08/2010 - 30cl from tap @ Medvedgrad Adzijina
Clear dark red to brown beer (not exactly black). Tick beige rocky head. Aroma is malty, sweet, dried fruits, caramel. MF is a little flat, medium body and somewhat watery texture. Taste is sweet, roasted malts, some red berries. Aftertaste has a little coffee bitterness, caramel and some acidity to keep the beer balanced. Good brew.
