Nice and very great to finish all the beers in this place with this marvel. The tradition of slav beers is just great no matter what of the countries you visit.

27/10 0.3 l draught. Had dark brown body with medium creamy, slowly diminishing brown head. Roasted malts in aroma, quite strong sourness. Maybe also from some kind of hops... Flavor is sour, a bit bitter, coffee. Finish long and pretty sour. Lacked sweetness expected for the style, but still quite good. I will try it again next time in Zagreb if this was in bad condition.

On draft at Zagreb. Black, small brown head. Malty nose, some liquorice. Predominantly bitter flavour, not a lot of complexity. Lasting bitter finish. Thin mouthfeel.

On draught at the "small bear" bar in Zagreb. It pours an opaque dark brown with a slightly tan head. light-medium body with a mellow dark malt flavor with very slight caramel notes and a dry finish. Minimal hops present. A clean dark beer.

Geiserich (3268) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - SEP 20, 2006
Draught:Aroma with toffee, malt and fruit notes. Dark brown color, nearly no head. Intensive toffee flavor, light to medium sweet. Quite light body. Roasted malt in the end which is responsable for a dry, bitter finish. Quite nice, low alcohol beer.

Marko (3878) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 9, 2005
I drank this after the mediocre Pšenično Pivo, and it restored my shaken faith in the brewpub. Dark/near black red, with a thick persistant head that left tons of lacing. The aroma was hard to detect, and I got mostly dust and a bit of malt. The taste is really pleasant and full - dried figs, liquorice and chocolate, with no detectable hops .I didn’t note the aftertaste. Good stuff.

Draught at Zagreb
Dark hazelnut color, cappuchino head. Light hoppy aroma. Slightly roasted, hoppy mouthfeel. Oily aftertaste. Maybe "the easiest" to drink of Pivnica Medvedgrad beers.
