heavy (2075) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 30, 2007
27/10 0.3 l draught (sweet little weizen glass) Had murky orange brownish body with moderate creamy head. Typical wheat nose, banana, fruity, some malts, too. Flavor is not bad, but nothing special, watery, a bit sourish, yeap with clove. Finish is medium short, sourish and watery. I like Weizens, so was not bad, but this definitely could be much better.

On draft. Hazy orange-brown coloured, dying off-white head. Fruity nose, wheat. Caramel malty flavour, some sourness, creamy. Sticky finish. Perhaps overly sweet.

The best Croatian beer. It is orange-brown color. It is very easy for drinking .Better than others Medvedgrad¨s beers.

I drank this beer few times and every time it taseted beter and beter. The only downside that I can think of is that it can’t be bought in stores but only in medvedgrad pubs

What a disappointment. Definitely not as good as the other Medvedgrad beers are. A couple of friends, who’re not that much into beer claimed that this was great. It damn wasn’t. I really hope it was just a bad batch. It was a darker brown/orange, just about as dark as the Paulaner Dunkelweizen I had. There was no head at all. The nose is all cloves and some bananas. Cloves own the taste... and it’s not that pleasant. Cloves are probably my least favorite "weissbier" taste, and they completely dominate the taste. The aftertaste is strange. My notes say burned bubblegum. I’ll try this again, but I don’t expect anything to change.

TBone (11935) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2004
Draught at Zagreb
Hazy orange, small white head. Sweet banana and wheat aroma. Very bitter, grape flavor. Strong bitter aftertaste. Interesting "different" weizen, more Belgium than German.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2004
A cloudy beer with a spicy aroma and flavour, having some bitterness and typical bananary hints. I'm not a massive fan of this style of wheat beer, but it was a well made example. (Draught at Medvedgrad, Zagreb)
