i tried it drought, but i think it was mixed with water in Mali Medo (Tkalčićeva, Zagreb), light caramel taste, light sweetness, i don’t know why they called it Extra Jako (means (Extra Strong) becouse there’s no particular taste and no taste of alcohol at all.

Apr 9, 2008 This is the best beer in Medvedgrad. Not only it is most rich with alcohol, it has the best taste and I would say one of the best beers in Croatia. It is also very cheap, like all beers in Medvedgrad pub.

Comments: My favourite Medvedgrad offering. Well put together flavours, light-bodied, fresh tasting, veiled alcohol. Like a good bock.

Oct 30, 2007 27/10 0.5 l draught. Has deep brown body with moderate creamy brownish head. Strong sourish aroma, I already get used to in those two Zagreb brewpubs. some hops definitely here, too. Flavor is quite alcoholic, with lot of caramel, a bit bitter, also sweet. Finish is quite good, where alcohol is also felt through the sweet caramel. Very good beer, surely the best from Medvedgrad.

Sep 21, 2007 On draft. Dark ruby coloured, small dying head. Caramel malts, obvious sweetness. Sticky mouthfeel. Disappointing.
