Big beer but hardly any trace of the alcohol except for a slight warming in the throat. The aroma is malty sweet with some citrus. The flavor is nice but not as hoppy as expected. Good stuff from these guys.

Pours orange anger with a creamy beige head. Aroma brings juicy orange hops and perfumey booze. Flavors are huge resiny malt and candy orange hops with a bite, not zesty but a bit hot with the huge ABV for sure.

Fruity sweet aroma with a hop kick at the front. Bright orange pour with thin white head. Great fruit candy taste with apricots and hop times.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2014 Growler from the brewery. Pours deep deep orange, fruit amber. Aromas of hard core tropical citrus fruit. Taste follows suit x10, very sweet candy tastes too. Bitterness builds up with each sip. Good not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler from the brewery. Pours hazy dark amber with a thin ring of white head. Aroma is pineapple, pine and citrus. Taste is huge melted Jolly Rancher malt base, orange and light pine finish. Alcohol is perfectly hidden. This is way too sweet to start but as it coats your palate the bitterness comes through more to balance, albeit not quite enough. Sticky, syrupy mouthfeel and seems slightly under-carbonated. Tastier than the individual components would indicate.

growler from Al’s/Pizza Boy. syrupy, fuller bodied orange pour. quite boozy, big sweet orange & caramel maltiness. Big mouthfeel, agressive bitterness, hop syrup. Decent but too sweet

BBT3 tasting. From mini-Growler. Poured an orange/amber color with a small sized head. Citrus, floral, earthy, hoppy, caramel, and fruity. Some alcohol in the finish, but I would not have guessed close to 14% (does that mean I have a problem!).

Growler from Brenton! Pours a deep red with slight tan head. Off for the style. Aroma of sweet cherry and some resinous syrup hops. Taste is overly sweet hoppy syrup. Cough syrup and high alcohol on the tounge. Not that nice.

Strong, very strong. It’s an IPA alright, but a little too much for me. I feel silly saying that because I love big hoppy high alcohol content IPA’s, but this one went a bit far. Still good, just not great.

Draft at the brewpub/restaurant on my way to Campground Brewdown. Poured deep burnt orange with a smaller to average sized tight creamy off white head. Aroma is very fruity and citrusy with lots of yellow grapefruit, hint of alcohol and some grainy bread. Big full chewy body with average carbonation and only a slight touch of heat on the end. Flavor of slight alcohol, grains, citrus, grapefruit rind and apricot skins. Probably the best of the PB beers I had while I was there.
