Draft at the source. Hazy bright yellow color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of very fruity rising bread dough. Taste has lots of mixed tropical fruits, hay, straw, nicely balanced. Holy cow, if every pale lager tasted like this, I’d drink them all the time. In fact, I spent the first 20 years of my life drinking pale lagers because nothing else was easily available. If only this had existed then....

Growler shared at Campdown Brewdown thanks to argo0. Pours a clear golden with medium foam. Nose is sharp and fresh dough, noble hops, squash. Taste is a bit soapy, hoppy, heavy biscuit and dough. A bit oily and even smoky in the nose. Very nice.

2012-08-17. Dark golden yellow body with nice beige head. 3+ Nice hoppy grassy aroma fades a bit. Modest flavour, modest hop character and bitterness mild but pleasant pale malt, modest grassy hops. 6+ Smooth average bodied palate. Decent, it is better than I expected, pretty serviecable lager. Growler, Campground Brewdown 2012

Growler shared at Kramer’s Campground Brewdown 2012. Pours a light body with light white lacing. Aroma is plain: light grass, light malts, light fruit and faint grain. Mouthfeel is smooth, refreshing and painless. A plain pale lager that’s not offensive.

Tap. Pours a clear light gold body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is pretty light, just a bit of pale malt and some light but very bright citrusy hops. The flavor is clean and super crisp with a nice snappy hoppiness on the finish. Light bodied an super easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Probably the best Pale Lager I’ve ever had. Lots of flavor, little alcohol.

12oz pour at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with some fizzy white head. Nose is standard for a lager, some cooked corn, some white flour, a little paper, some straw. Flavor is lightly crisp, a little lemon, straw, a little corn sweetness. Clean finish. A good, plain lager.

Draft on the way to Campground Brewdown. Poured a good looking deep golden straw body iwht a medium density foamy white head that left lots of lace. Aroma of grains, corn, bread crusts. Medium bodied with assertive carbonation. Flavor of veggies, cream corn, bread crusts and dry grains. An okay beer for a boring style.
