Hazy golden yellow body. Moderate white head. Spotty lacing. Nose is citric with wheat, yeast, a little pepper and a grainy malt bill. Flavor is similar, but there is some added complexity from some lightly fruity notes that suggest peaches. Medium bodied, assertive carbonation, refreshing finish, nice dryness.

Beautiful full Golden color this brew is substantial. Nice powerful Saison aroma. Alcohol was listed on chalkboard as 7.0%. Great amped up taste like clove and bursting in the mouthfeel with grains, wheat, yeast, malt and some alcohol. Carbed up and a bit sharp in the mouthfeel where it is released but not in the glass. Satisfying and substantial.

Served on cask at Al’s of Hampden. This one has some citra added to it. A - Pours hazy straw yellow with a decent one and a half finger tall white head leaving small trails of lace down parts of the glass. S - Smells of citric hops, wheat, pepper and dry yeast. It has all of the typical saison aromas with the fresh citra hops still shining through, very nice. T - Starts off with some strong citric hop bitterness quickly giving way to hints of black pepper, musty yeast and the typical bready malt. Finish has some hop bitterness mixed with some chewiness, lingering on the palate long after the finish. M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Chewy, spicy feel throughout with growing hop bitterness as it sits in the glass. O - A solid saison. Nothing really stands out but everything is balanced well. I look forward to having this one again in the future.

Handpull cask. Hazy golden yellow color, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of citrus, pineapple, grass. Taste is mildly funky lemongrass, not bad.
