3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2013 Served on-tap at Al’s of Hampden.
A - Pours clear golden yellow with a nice one finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty trails of thin lace down parts of the glass.
S - Smells of pungent citric hops, fresh tropical fruits - mostly grapefruit and mango - and some light caramel sweetness. Nice and fresh with plenty of inviting aromas, very nice.
T - Starts off with an intense citric hop bitterness, that lasts till the finish, slowly giving way to hints of tropical fruit and some caramel sweetness. Finish is pretty dry with a touch of sweetness, not lingering on the palate for very long.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, bitter feel from start to finish with some lingering dryness at the very end.
O - This version is quite West Coast yet still easy to finish. The hops are bright and flavorful but not overpowering. A really nice, simple IPA. Give it a try if you have the chance.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Brewery. Pours light yellow gold. Floral citrus spice. Refreshing light crisp, high carb, some white wine characteristics. Excellent.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Pizza Boy. Very interesting hop profile. It’s leafy, floral, and earthy. It almost has a Belgian IPA profile with a bit of spice through the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Seems like a nice straightforward IPA to me. Solid, classic IPA flavors/aromas that should be expected with this style.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 Growler at Franks with a bunch of beer nerds for "end of the world" tasting. This is easily my favorite beer Terry has made at Pizza Boy. Lightly hazy copper color, medium head and lacing. Aromas and taste are so freaking juicy, tons of dank citra hops punching you in the face, with other notes of garlic, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, and pine. Not too sugary like the hopgasms were, almost a perfect ipa that i would put up there with the best Vermont and Cali offerings. Awesome.
