COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We wanted to make a different harvest ale besides a fresh hop IPA so we decided to do something strange. This is a sour ale fermented on grapes from The Vineyard at Hershey. We then dry hopped it with locally grown Cascade hops from South Mountain Hops and also Centennial hops. The result is a blush colored sour ale with an INCREDIBLE aroma. Enjoy!

Had on tap last November, catching up now. Pour is watermelon pink with a bubbly very light pink head. Nose is a bit metallic, berry fruits, faint touch of lactic, subtle grassy hops to balance. Taste also has a metallic hint, flavors are nice but subdued. Fruity passion fruit, subtle Brett and some grassy hay like hops. Sourness is moderate, fairly dry finish with a balanced carb and soft light feel.

Growler. Pours pink and clear, almost spritzy looking. Light tartness, citric fruits, soft flowery bitterness, and a crisp lemony tart finish. This is an off one, but definitely good and very drinkable.

Tasted from Growler. Poured a ruby/pinkish color with a small sized head. Citrus, funky, berries, floral hops and pine. Interestingly different and enjoyable.

Hazy pinkish color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, funk toast, and cherries. Taste of citrus, sour cherry, pine, citrus, floral, and a tart finish.

Pours somewhat clear thick ruby with a small head. Aroma brings light berry notes and a bit of funky yeast. Flavors bring spritzy cranberry and light lime notes.

Growler at Maxs tasting. Pours a clear pink with a very faint hint of a white head. Tart with a bit of grapes and fruit, tangy, nice acid but then a nice clean citrus. Faint bitterness, light acidity. Very cool stuff.

DrewFace (732) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Pours a clear ruby red color. Mild hop aroma up front, no real indication of sour/tart, slight raspberry character. Citrusy hop character up front in the flavor followed by nice tartness and mild acidic character. Mild fruitiness, raspberry, strawberry like but very faint. Very refreshing and drinkable beer...not too hoppy, not too tart.

Growler share thanks to Drewface. Nose is very lactic like and citrusy. Pour is stark red. Small white head. More barnyard as I smell. Slightly fruity. Taste is slightly tart. Gets you in the gills tart but not overly crazy. Slightly fruity but very faint. Flavor falls off quickly and finishes super dry and flat.

Flip top. Pink bubbly pour with white head. Tart fruit and hops aroma. Very herbal with hints of fruit flavor.
