COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We wanted to make a different harvest ale besides a fresh hop IPA so we decided to do something strange. This is a sour ale fermented on grapes from The Vineyard at Hershey. We then dry hopped it with locally grown Cascade hops from South Mountain Hops and also Centennial hops. The result is a blush colored sour ale with an INCREDIBLE aroma. Enjoy!

Growler. Bright deep red/purple. Sweet tart grape juice aroma with an earthy hop note. The taste adds sweet red wine qualities and sugar. Light sour tart feel with low carb and a touch of bitterness. Interesting and unique but, not my style overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Pours purplish ruby, like cranberry juice with no head. Aroma is blood orange, grapefruit and citrus rind. Taste follows and adds leafy hops, floral and mint notes. Thin mouthfeel and moderate carb. Very strange but good.

Draft pours purplish pink, low head and clear. Aroma is light tart grapes, taste is similar with a throat tingly piney dry finish, good clean sour

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy reddish purple with a pinkish head. Aroma of grapefruit, welches grapes, slight vinegar. Taste is fruity and sweet up front and slightly tart at the finish. Goes down easy but not as amazing as 3.0.

Had on tap last November, catching up now. Pour is watermelon pink with a bubbly very light pink head. Nose is a bit metallic, berry fruits, faint touch of lactic, subtle grassy hops to balance. Taste also has a metallic hint, flavors are nice but subdued. Fruity passion fruit, subtle Brett and some grassy hay like hops. Sourness is moderate, fairly dry finish with a balanced carb and soft light feel.

Growler. Pours pink and clear, almost spritzy looking. Light tartness, citric fruits, soft flowery bitterness, and a crisp lemony tart finish. This is an off one, but definitely good and very drinkable.

Tasted from Growler. Poured a ruby/pinkish color with a small sized head. Citrus, funky, berries, floral hops and pine. Interestingly different and enjoyable.

Hazy pinkish color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, funk toast, and cherries. Taste of citrus, sour cherry, pine, citrus, floral, and a tart finish.

Pours somewhat clear thick ruby with a small head. Aroma brings light berry notes and a bit of funky yeast. Flavors bring spritzy cranberry and light lime notes.
