Bottle share at Damicoís. Pours a hazy golden slight copper color with thin foam head. Aroma of big grapefruit and some malts. Juicy sweet up front with a nice malt backbone. More of your juicy but sticky, malty IPA variety than just straight juicy hop bomb. Very tasty.

hopdog (8773) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2013
Tasted from Growler. Poured a hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Citrus / grapefruit, and some pine. Drinkable and a session-able IPA.

Damico (2452) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2013
Pours hazy golden thick murky sour mix in color. Aroma brings sweet and fresh juicy hops so pleasant in the nose. Grapefruit on nose is continued right in the flavor with a big juicy body and some subtle Sweet zest, lingering so nicely on the palate.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2013 Served on-tap at Alís of Hampden. This is for the Double Dry Hopped Version.

A - Pours hazy golden amber with a small half finger tall white head leaving sticky trails of lace down the glass.

S - Smells of strong grassy hops, mild citric fruit, some caramel malt, a bit of pine resin and some light earthiness. Smells the part, hope it tastes as good as it smells.

T - Starts off with the same big grassy hop bite that stays around through the finish. Hints of caramel and toffee sweetness, pine and a bit of tropical fruit offer some balance to all the hop bitterness. Finish is a little sweet with plenty of bitterness, lingering on the palate long after the finish. A little more balanced than the nose.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sticky feel from all the hops and sweetness.

O - A nice rift on an already good beer. It smells really nice and has some decent balance but all that hop bitterness started to wear on me toward the end of my glass. I could do one or two of these but that is about it. Anyway, if you are into this kind of beer you will enjoy this one.

On tap at new Alís location. Clear gold-amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is nutty, quite hoppy, pretty typical citrus pine, nothing too exotic. Taste is bitter, bordering on astringent but still quite drinkable. Strong piney hop flavor. Good.

Growler from Bill. Pours an orange copper color, notes were lots of sugars and sweetness, hoppy, aromas of butterscotch, malts, and hops. Finishes bitter and dry. Medium body. Just ok.

In short: A by the book citrusy golden IPA. Well made.
How: Growler shared at Camping Brewdown 2012.
The look: Partly cloudy golden body topped by a small off - white head with good retention.
In long: Nose is resinous fruity hops with apricots coming out strong along with oranges, some grapefruits and earthy notes. Taste is well malted, lots of chewy cereals with only a mild caramel flavor. Bright and fresh citrusy hops, bitterness of medium intensity, nourishing and refreshing. Nothing I havenít had many times before, but Iím not complaining, you canít get tired of IPAs like this one. A name that reminds me of a certain prejudice, you eat a pizza every month and nobody says youíre a pizza addict but then you eat one or two pizza boy and all of a sudden youíre a ďcannibalĒ, thatís unfair.

dmac (3892) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 23, 2012
Draft on the way to Campground Brewdown. Poured a so-so looking clear thinner light amber body under a smaller foamy off white head. Aroma was very nice with notes of earthy citrus rinds, fresh hops and and grapefruits. Fuller dry body with a lingering bitter finish and average to stronger carbonatin. Flavor of earth, light chocolate, bitter citrus rind, tangerine. This was a solid IPA.
