pepsican (645), the beer wastelands of, Iowa, USA May 14, 2008 Orange pour with a thin white head. Strong citrus hop aroma. Flavor had tons of grapefruit hops, mango, caramel, and just a small hint of the abv. Finishes moderately bitter, refreshing. Very nice.
Haslinger (503), Syracuse, New York, USA Aug 7, 2008 22 ounce bottle. Thanks to kegbear, poured dark gold, almost orange into a snifter with a very minimal head. The aroma is almost exclusively hops. The taste is pretty much the same, dominated by hops with some malt lingering in the palate. Very good. I would definitely buy/drink again jeremytoni (543), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Aug 7, 2008 From a bottle poured a nice straw color with a good amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lingering finish. DA (2300), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Aug 6, 2008 Thanks to AlohaC for this one. Very floral hops stuff up the nose, there isn’t much guessing where this is going to go, just will it be sharply bitter or beautifully floral, and this is the later. Fruity nose, pine, citrus, tropic fruit notes. The bitterness is there, but not palate scraping. Heavier on the palate, but still smooth enough to not feel daunting and dries out in the finish. sk8viking (6070), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 Bottle. A amber to orange beer with a white head. The aroma is very hoppy/pine/peach/grape very nise! The taste is the same nise!! Medium body with a bitter dry finish. yespr (6000), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at the brewery. Fruity hops aroma, mild and light. Flavour is a lot more dense with a solid yet smooth hoppy base flavour with a mild caramel malt base showing through. Dry and spiced hops finish. A bit too brutal but still very good.
