chinchill (1700) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 24, 2014
On tap at the brewpub in Solano Beach. Pours clear, very dark brown. Semi-durable head leaves the glass nearly coated with sticky lacing. Flavor: Very dark roasted grains and enough hop to make their presence obvious and to make this mildly bitter. Too much char in the finish and aftertaste. Feel: Smooth; medium carbonation and body.
