tap at Solona - This beer has a good, mild hop aroma with a little malt. It’s lightly carbonated and has a slightly too thin body. The easy going hops comes through nicely in the flavor with a lingering, dry finish. Did I drink the same beer as other reviewers? They said it was the Baja. I thought it tasted kind of like an ESB and was actually pretty good. And I’ve never rated a pale lager this high...

(CASK - PP Solana Beach) a sublime session beer on cask. Medium amber with a generous head. Mild malt aroma. Flavor is mild malt and hops. Great on cask. I think it’s misclassified here - I don’t think they’d call a lager an ale. More like an English pale ale or bitter.

Amber coloured beer with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon and grapefruit hops along with a lean pale malt and a bit of bready character as well. British types of malts and a light earthy character. A touch of citrus and spice in the hop flavour. Moderate bitterness. A fairly tasty pint.

This is a pale lager? Whatever. Light amber in color. Medium sweet caramel malt with a crisp citrus finish. Very light and sessionable. Must be the reason for the name...
