Draft. Clear amber in color with an average-sized white head. Can’t say I love the aroma. It’s leafy and citric, somewhat like an amped-up ESB but a bit unpleasant. The flavor is better, with a good mildly sweet caramel malt base, leafy hop notes, and medium bitterness. Medium-bodied with average carbonation level. Overall good, but could stand to improve on the nose.

On tap @ Pizza Port, Carlsbad. Bright orange, slightly hazy, low head generating ropy lace. Fruity tamgerine and toffee aroma. Very hoppy fruity palate, tangerines, fresh pineapple, crusty/toasty malts, medium bitter finish. Very tasty!

Poured cloud bright yellow-gold with a thick, creamy white head. Looks just like a Boddington’s out of the nitro-can. Spotty lacing. Bread dough, grass, and spicy hops in the nose. Bitter taste of peppery hops and Goldings. Bready back, more of a sourdough quality. Dry finish. Great session.

From tap at Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge tan/orange and dense head. Aroma is mild dry wooden hoppy with a light malty note hidden beneath. Mild sweet caramel malt flavoured, light biscuit note and subdued wooden hoppy accent. Medium dry and slight breadish finish. Fine and easy thirst quencer.
