On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours reddish copper with a massive beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a very substantial mixed malt flavor with an emphasis on caramel, followed by a pleasantly bitter finish.

West USA trip 2010. On tap @ Pizza Port Carlsbad. The aroma is flowery and has aprikots. Clear, amber coloured with not much/no head. The taste is light bitter, bit malty and has the fruity/flowery hops from the aroma. relative dry beer. okay.

Pours lightly hazy, dark copper solor with a medium size wheat head, spider web lace. Smells pretty hoppy. Red fruits with some mellow malt sweetness. Tastes malty and sweet overall, some iced tea with a mellow, building, red fruit hop presence. Medium body, velvetty carbonation.

On tap at PP Carlsbad: Pours a clear copper amber with a well-lacing off-white head. Aroma of toasty earthy dark caramel with some English hoppiness and piny notes. Starts with good fullness and a nice caramely sweetness along with some light fruitiness. Finishes crisp and bittersweet with lingering hoppiness. A pretty good English style IPA.

On tap at PP Carlsbad. Half pint. red color. Huge lasting light tan head. Great apricot hop aroma. Light on flavor. Very dry. Very bitter. Bitter grassy green hops. Very interesting....I think I like it.

On tap at PP Carlsbad: Golden amber color with a small (bar pour) off-white head. Aroma is lightly sweet with citrus. Flavor starts with light caramel followed by citrus (grapefruit, lemon) and a lingering, lightly dry orange rind finish. Light-medium body is tangy with lively carbonation. Gold@GABF 2009.

On tap at PP Carlsbad. Fairly dark amber pour, off-white head. Roasted malt, lightly sweet biscuits, citrus, grapefruit, floral hops, and a touch of caramel. An average IPA, and easy to drink.
