Pizza Port Cardiff Cream Ale

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild hops spiced aroma. Flavour is light spiced, mild fruity and with a light bitterness. Good on a warm day otherwise classic cream ale.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head that burns away pretty quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Mildly hoppy aroma with touches of honey and wheat. Light, clean body with light hops and spice flavors along with a bit of grainy malt. The finish is lightly bitter and leaves a lingering fruity hops. Better than expected overall.

On-tap at PPSB. Pours pale yellow, clearish. Thin, crisp, white head that leaves a good amount of lace. Smells light and grainy, wheaty with some light earthy hops. Tastes light and grainy sweet, malty, negligible hop flavor. Smooth, thin to medium body. Subdued moderate carbonation. Basically this beer is like running a light lager through a beer engine. On tap @ Pizza Port Solana Beach. Pale yellow macro lager look to it. Some honey sweetness, eucaliptus?. Medium to light body. Thought this would be a little more full

not usualy a fan of cream ales but, this was quite good! what else would you expect from Pizza Port but great beer.....;)
