Keg at CBC Clerkenwell, London during the Pizza Port tap takeover. Pours clear, amber-gold with a light, tan froth head. Bready malt nose, some berries, mild leaves. Medium sweet flavor with light dry caramel, dry bread, soft berries, mellow orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, lightly sticky, with further dry caramel, toffee, light bread. Really nice beer. Good balance. Wonderfule character for a 4%er.

Enjoyed on tap at Fathers Office in Los Angeles, CA after a long relatively stressful plane ride. Overall it was pretty good, nice rich brown hue with notes of caramel and very light hazelnut. This is a beer that I could keep drinking, great finish, nicely done.

Draft at Tornado SD. Light red in color.... small head that faded fast. For an amber this is a tasty beer. Really well balanced between the hops and malts. But a little more on the hoppy side which is to my liking. Clean and crisp. Solid breski

Amber with a small head on tap at Ocean Beach. The aroma has a nice malt back bone with a bit of citrus, maybe a touch of caramel. The flavor has the malt upfront and then a bitter end. The finish is crisp and clean. Great for the warm weather.

Pours a copper-amber with a one finger off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, caramel, sweet malts, apple juice, and some light grassy hops. Taste is similar to the aroma but also has some vanilla and toffee notes. Has a medium body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a decent amber ale that could use more hops for my palate.

Can at Bamboo. Malty, some sweetness, but quite grainy. Bit of citrus, decent spritziness. Minerals and lightness in the taste. Toffee. I was smashed at this stage, so who knows really?

Pours clearish amber with a medium sized white head that leaves good lace. Smells caramelly and cereal sweet. Nice, mellow. Tastes about the same. Sweet, caramel and cereal malts and a hint of fruit. Medium body, good carbonation.

Here’s another one that I was assured was brewed separately at the San Clemente location. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head and good, sticky lace. Smells cereal and malty sweet with some caramel. Tastes malty and sweet with some caramel and sugar and a bit of fruitiness as well. Pretty good, always could be hoppier. Tasty though. Medium body, slightly syrupy, mellow carbonation.
