badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Oct 27, 2007 On tap at Pizza Port. Copper brown with no head. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty taste with a grainy wheat bread taste and a crisp finish. scoobysnak (249), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Oct 22, 2007 I really like this beer, somehow I feel it is better than the ratings it received, but what do I know. Had it with a slice of pizza, damn good. BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 16, 2007 GABF ’07. Pours clear dark yellow with an average, fizzy, white head, lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (toasted grain, meal), average hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of dust. Light bodied, thin texture, soft carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity and bitterness. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA Oct 15, 2007 On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Tastes like a typical pale ale, no strong aroma and no taste of chronic. No biggie. Naven (864), Poway, California, USA Sep 8, 2007 On tap @ the Local - Downtown San Diego. I didn’t even know that this had Hemp Seeds in it, but I do love the idea. Guess that explains why this beer is listed as a Spice/Herb/Vegetable. Anyway, it’s a mellow, light bodied amber ale akin to Fat Tire, in fact it could be a FT clone. It’s not normally my favorite style, but it was light and refreshing after a day of riding bikes with my compadre, Bartzilla. Bikes, beer, food, sunshine........life is good.
