Commercial Description:
Our customers can’t get enough of this amber ale that was orginally brewed with hemp seeds, but tastes just as good without them.

Draught at Pizza Port Carlsbad
Pellucid amber color, caramel. Thin head and lacing. Nose is light with some crystal malt, a bit of doughy malt and some light hops to balance. Definitely on the lighter hoppy scale. Light acedylhide in the flavor when really puffed. A mediocre amber ale with a lightly hoppy and sharp/dry finish.

Tap @ Carlsbad from Dec 05. Coppery pour with some orange hints. Sweet malty flavors with a moderate body. A bit too sweet for a session beer for me.

Tap at San Clemente (I’m guessing the rating belongs here, since it’s not listed under san clemente and the brewers are the same): Light copper color with tiny white head. Aroma has peach, apples, honey, malt. Flavor is fruity, crisp; dry finish with a touch of bitterness.

Sampled@Port Carlsbad: Red-amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavor starts sweet and malty followed by a light hop spicyness and a light dry finish. Smooth, creamy palate.

Malty sweetness w/ slight dark fruit and vinious notes on the nose... the same w/ a hint of pine / citrus on the mouth. This beer poured a rich reddish brown w/ gold highlights, slight head and good lacing. The mouthfeel was creamy and light.

Had this on tap at Najas Place. This wasn’t bad at all, very typical amber ale I guess, went down nice and smooth........I think I got high drinking this hehe.

Draught at Pizza Port (Carlsbad), California.
Light amber/orange beer with a white head. Sweet malty aroma with grassy tones. Flavor of pilsner malt with grassy tones and hops in the finish. Bland but drinkable.
