BückDich (4785), McCall, Idaho, USA Apr 4, 2006 Draught at Pizza Port Carlsbad Pellucid amber color, caramel. Thin head and lacing. Nose is light with some crystal malt, a bit of doughy malt and some light hops to balance. Definitely on the lighter hoppy scale. Light acedylhide in the flavor when really puffed. A mediocre amber ale with a lightly hoppy and sharp/dry finish. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA Mar 21, 2006 Tap @ Carlsbad from Dec 05. Coppery pour with some orange hints. Sweet malty flavors with a moderate body. A bit too sweet for a session beer for me. JasonG (700), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jan 6, 2006 Tap at San Clemente (I’m guessing the rating belongs here, since it’s not listed under san clemente and the brewers are the same): Light copper color with tiny white head. Aroma has peach, apples, honey, malt. Flavor is fruity, crisp; dry finish with a touch of bitterness. papajohn (1054), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA Aug 13, 2005 Sampled@Port Carlsbad: Red-amber color with a small off white head.
