Doctormirk (100), USA Apr 11, 2007 On tap at Carlsbad. Buttery, sweet salty popcorn. Wheaty. Something else there that I can’t quite pick out.
mgumby10 (1642), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Aug 31, 2008 Draft. Pours a crystal clear copper amber with a small white head. Light fruity malty presence in th aroma, nothing too big and bold. The flavor is more on the fruity side. Some pear or apple in there with a big malt presence. Not too syrupy or malty, but had some decrent flavor in there. Not as earthy as I expected it to be, especially with the name. This name should only be named to an IPA of some sort. hopscotch (4485), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2008 Draft... RBSG ‘08... Clear, deep golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose has a biscuity, sweaty thing going on that I don’t like. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Leans just a hair on the sweet side of balance. Toffee and biscuit. Crisp, lightly sweet finish. jsh12bama (215), Alabama, USA Aug 18, 2008 Draft @ Carlsbad. Pours amber with white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is caramel and mild nutty flavor. Medium mouthfeel. Ungstrup (11154), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 10, 2008 Draft in San Clemente. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, as well as lot of hoppy grass, leading to a rather bitter finish. Nice and refreshing. yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap in San Clemente (!). Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Light roasted caramel malt aroma. Light spiced and breadish bse flavour. Delicate fruity hops flavour on top. Goes into a nice hoppy finish.
