I guess this was Pizza Portís attempt to satisfy the Miller light drinkers. Very average, only good thing was you could drink this all day, donít know wht you would want to.

I was very disappointed with this beer, it had absolutely no distinctions from any other beer.. i am not really a fan of dry, hop finishing beers, so it wasnít really my type. Nothing made this one stand out for me.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: APR 16, 2007 On tap at Port Carlsbad. Another not required component of a big lineup of 39 taps, though not needed, itís a beer for those with a palate. Moderate lace, and as expected a well-retained head. Not too creamy, since cream ales have nothing to do with "creaminess", and a lovely engaging, yet light mouthfeel. Quite different than the amigo lager, with more pale malt and lightly citric hops, as opposed to more traditional lager/european hops. Softer yeast presence with just a hint of fruitiness, as opposed to a lager yeast.
Really nicely attenuated, very flavorful and lacking of any flaws.

On tap at Port Carlsblad. Another required component of a big lineup of 39 taps, though not needed, itís a transition beer. Bit of lace, expected a good head but not so. Not too creamy although mouthfeel was fine, and in fact was not too different than their Mexican lager.

Draught at Pizza Port Carlsbad
Light pale golden color with thin head and light lacing. The nose is light with some citrusy hops and a touch of pale malt. A lightly sweet flavor with a bit of doughy creamy malt finish. Decent cream ale without any real negative deterants.

At last, a cream ale that tastes creamy! This is no Genny Cream Ale, but a nice tasting, creamy beer that would go down great at a bbq.
