ClarkVV (3547), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Apr 12, 2007 Updated: Apr 16, 2007On tap at Port Carlsbad. Another not required component of a big lineup of 39 taps, though not needed, it’s a beer for those with a palate. Moderate lace, and as expected a well-retained head. Not too creamy, since cream ales have nothing to do with "creaminess", and a lovely engaging, yet light mouthfeel. Quite different than the amigo lager, with more pale malt and lightly citric hops, as opposed to more traditional lager/european hops. Softer yeast presence with just a hint of fruitiness, as opposed to a lager yeast. Really nicely attenuated, very flavorful and lacking of any flaws. badlizard (1437), San Diego, California, USA Jul 11, 2007 On tap at Pizza Port. Clear golden yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet honey like aroma. Malty honey bread taste with a crisp toasty finish. Certainly a better than average beer. Ringo (959), Loveland, Colorado, USA Oct 8, 2002 At last, a cream ale that tastes creamy! This is no Genny Cream Ale, but a nice tasting, creamy beer that would go down great at a bbq. decaturstevo (1193), decatur, Tennessee, USA Dec 24, 2007 On tap at PPCB. A clean yellow pour. Almost no nose but clean as a whistle. While it has a bit of maltiness it doesn’t have the adjunct taste. It has the lightest of bitters as well. Solid palate and carbonation. As clean as pin and very refreshing excellent drinker. doubleo (751), San Diego, California, USA Apr 7, 2008 On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours a clear, light yellow color with a thin, crisp white head, some spider web lace. Smells crisp and malty. Tastes sweet, crisp, and malty. There is a general sweetness as well, cream? I don’t know. Thin body, coats the mouth, crisp carbonation.
